These categories evolve through prayer. If you are not sure about whether we support a
particular type of request please call the National Office. |
What we do not support*: Education expenses other than Christian Science Class Instruction and Christian Science Nurses Training. Christian Science Nursing Facility fees. Other organizations, building projects and expenses that do not promote employment, safety, and/or spiritual growth. We do not offer, or continue assistance, in situations where financial support would promote a sense of dependency.
The National Office does not intend to limit individual demonstration, but in most cases the following policy will lead to the correct response to a request of this nature. The Principle Foundation does not provide financial assistance to individuals who receive, take or practice any aspect of medical care by choice. However, TPF may offer financial assistance (up to current grant levels) if an individual receives medical care against their wishes, has requested to be released from said care, and is striving to rely on Christian Science treatment exclusively. TPF may not provide financial assistance in cases where the individual has stopped or refused any aspect of medical care in order to be eligible for financial assistance from the Foundation.
